The Little Rock Rangers polished off their home schedule with two games at War Memorial Stadium over the weekend. In the first game, the Rangers and Shreveport Rafters FC drew at 1 goal apiece. On Sunday, the Rangers fell to conference leading Tulsa.
On Friday night, the Rangers fell behind early when Boneco Bazil put the Rafters up in the 14th minute off of an assist from Matheus Barrozo. The Rangers used a plethora of shots to get the equalizer when in the 58th minute, Rafael Ferreira kicked one of the Rangers' 10 corner kicks into the box where Trevor Reed headed it in for the Rangers' goal. Overall, Little Rock had 16 shots on the night, with 6 on goal and the Rafters had 11 shots with 5 on goal.
In the 4th minute of Sunday's game, the Tulsa Athletics scored the only goal of the night on a defensive breakdown. Goalie, Rafael Herrera and the back line of the Rangers held a fantastic Tulsa attack scoreless for the rest of the match. On the attacking side, the Rangers couldn't get much going, as they only managed 1 shot on goal of their 11 total shots.
This weekend's action wrapped up the Little Rock home schedule. The Rangers will head on the road for four games to round out the regular season.
