NPSL South Central Conference expands to 11 teams/
New playoff structure announced for 2016

Three new clubs, including two new states, equals 11 teams strong. The NPSL South Central Conference welcomed two new teams at December's owners meetings (Little Rock Rangers and ShreveportRafters FC), and welcomed its latest addition (Dutch Lions) over this past weekend. All eight South Central Conference teams returned from the 2015 season meaning the conference now sits at a solid 11 teamsacross six states. The South Central Conference now reigns as the largest conference among the 12 conference, 80 team NPSL.

All conference clubs will face each other once plus two additional matches against nearby rivals for a total of 12 conference matches. The top two teams earn an automatic berth into the conference championship tournament. The third place team will host the sixth place team while the fourth place team welcomes in the fifth place squad. The two wild card winners join the top two sides in the conference championship tournament. The regular season No. 1 seed will face the lowest ranked wild card side to advance to the tournament.
