The Little Rock Rangers went into Memphis on Sunday holding a 2-1 lead in the i40 aggregate cup. The Rangers looked in danger of losing the cup early as the fell down 3-1 in the match, but Little Rock was able to storm back to earn the draw and the cup.
Memphis FC was able to get on the board first when they put one in the goal in the 7th minute. The Rangers answered back just minutes later when TJ Rodriguez scored on yet another penalty kick in the 10th minute.
Memphis FC took a 2-1 lead into halftime before scoring in the 48th minute to go up 3-1. Needing an answer, Nick Vasquez scored in the 55th minute to bring the Rangers within one goal. The score remained scoreless until Sam Tejada scored the tying goal, in the 84th minute, to earn the draw. Bryce Deaton had a good day in net, racking up 12 saves.
